Kona Crime Prevention Committee

We honor outstanding police officers at the Officer of the Month luncheon held every first Wednesday of the month.

We provide a forum for Community Leaders to speak regarding community safety issues.

​

We select the Officer of the Year from one of the monthly honorees and in September we host the Officer of the Year Ceremony. 

​

We provide needed police equipment for use by the Kona District officers when Department funds cannot support those needs.

 

We raise money to support Kona DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education), Kona HI-PAL (Hawaii Isle Police Activities League), and other police-community educational projects.
